• Mrs.M.Padmavathy,Mr.A.Nazar Ali & Mr.G.Haridoss Students of M.E (Power Electronics and Drives) got University Ranks I,II & III in the Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore exams during the academic year 2008 -09.

• Mrs.V.Indiragandhi M.E (Power Electronics and Drives) got 1st Rank in the Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore exams during the academic year 2009-10.

• Ms.S.Ragavi and Mr.P.L.Chellameena of IV EEE won the first prize in the paper presentation at Vivekanandha College of Engineering for women, Namakkal.

• Mr.N.Santhosh and Mr.P.Vasanth of III EEE won the first prize in the paper presentation at JayaLaksmi Institute of Technology.

• Mr.R.Shriram III EEE won the first prize in My Idea Programme at Annai Mathammal Sheela Engineering & VIT University, Vellore.

• Mr.M.Rahul and Mr.R.Shriram of III EEE won the first prize in QUIZ Competition at AVS Engineering College, Salem.

•Mr.S.Soundharajan and Mr.R.Haiharan of III EEE won the second prize in Circuit Debugging at PGP College of Technology, Namakkal.

• Two staff members presented papers in the international and 10 staff members presented papers in the National conferences at various institutions.
