• M.Geetharani [M.E.,) secured 14th rank in the Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore exam in the year 2009-10.

• S.Gomathi [M.E.,] secured first rank in the Anna University, Chennai exam in the year 2007 -08.

• Our department is Conducting  
• Seminars => twice in a semester  
• Workshop => Once in a semester
• Guest Lectures => Once in a semester  
• Symposium => Once in the Academic Year

• Our department staff have participated in International and National Conferences, Staff Development Programmes and Workshops in various Colleges.

• Our department staff Mr.V.Bhoopathy published a paper in International Journal in the year 2010

• Yearly more than 25 students are participating in Paper presentation in various colleges and some of the students obtained first prize also. Most of the students have attended Inplant Training in various industries.

• Our students participated in various sports events like Hockey, Athletics, Volley Ball, Foot Ball, Cricket, Kabbadi in Zonal level, University level, National level and obtained various prizes.
