Electronics & Circuits Device Lab

This laboratory is used for undergraduate electronics, logic design and telecommunications experiments. The laboratory houses 35 state of the art test and measurement setups each including a power supply, a multimeter, a signal generator, a mixed signal oscilloscope and a personal computer. The laboratory is also equipped with the necessary hardware and software for experimenting on field programmable gate arrays.

AC & DC Machines Laboratory

Electrical machines lab is equipped with various types of AC & DC machines, Coupled sets, Alternators & Synchronous motors, Cut Models of various AC & DC machines are also available for demonstration. Special machines like AC servo, DC servo, Permanent magnet motors, Stepper motors etc., are available for supporting the project works done by students.

Control System Laboratory

This lab is equipped with latest sophisticated kits. This lab consists of P, PI, PID Controller, AC Servo Motor, and Position Control System kits, Stepper Motor Controller, Synchro Transmitter and Receiver. Apart form regular trainer kits, students are given training in MATLAB simulation.

Power Electronics Laboratory

As a new trend in emerging electronics field, power electronics plays a vital role in manufacturing UPS, AC/DC drives and control instruments. The lab has an excellent assortment of modules to study the behavior of SCRs TRIACs, MOSFETs, IGBTs, chopper controlled dc drives, PWM controlled converters, etc. Simulink software with Matlab is available which optimizes the design technique through simulation.
