Achievements :

1. Mechanical Department has organized a certificate programme in “CNC programming & machining operations” jointly with M/S MTAB Engineering Pvt.Ltd., Chennai from 07.06.2010 to 12.06.2010.

2. Placement trainings like soft skills, technical training, and communication skills are given periodically to cope up the students to meet MNC requirements.

3. An awareness program was conducted on emerging Job opportunities for mechanical engineering in CAD/CAM by M/S UNIX solutions Pvt. Ltd, NKL.

4. Final year students are placed in the following MNCs.  
       • Ford India Pvt. Ltd, Chennai
       • JCB Lexels Pvt, Ltd  
       • HCL Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Chennai.

5. A National level conference has been organized on the topic of technological advances in mechanical engineering (TAME’11) on 16.03.2011.

6. In our department students are participated in National level paper presentation and Merit students are awarded.

7. . Our Final year U.G student J. Vivekanadha has secured 33rd rank in Anna University, Chennai during the May/June 2013 Examinations.

8. Our III year students kuriakose and Kevin Jose Berly have won First Prize in the event of Poster Presentation held at KonguNadu College of Engineering and Technology, Thottiyam on 28 September 2013.

9. Our III year student Udhayachandran R has won First Prize in the event of Paper Presentation held at S N S College of Engineering, Coimbatore on 05-07, September 2013.

10. Our students Eldo kuriakose and Kevin Jose Berly of II year have won I prize in paper presentation held at Tamil Nadu College of Engineering, Coimbatore.

11. Many of our department students have participated in various National/International events like Seminar, Workshop, and Project contest, Conference etc., conducted by various Engineering colleges.
